You can expect a friendly atmosphere where everyone is welcome. Our services are traditional, and many say it feels "like home". The main worship service on Sunday consists of enthusiastic and inspiring singing from the entire congregation, as well as the church choir, special groups and soloists. It is not uncommon for people in our worship services to rejoice in the Lord. We do take up an offering at some point in the service, but we don't expect visitors to give. This is followed by a clear, concise and challenging Bible message from Pastor Jesse Bragg.
Please enter the front doors of the church where you will be greeted by a friendly face who can help you get to the appropriate class or service. The greeters will also be more than happy to answer any questions that you may have.
Children are welcome in all of our services, but you can find more information about our nursery here.
We also have a private, comfortable nursing mothers room available with a tv displaying the service. This room is located in the foyer beside the women's restroom.
We have great classes for all ages! You can find more information about our classes and ministries by clicking here.
On Sunday mornings during the 11am service, Kidsville is an exciting place for kids ages 4-11! They will sing songs, play games, and most importantly, hear a lesson from God's Word prepared for them.
On Wednesday nights, ages 4-11 are dismissed during the regular service for "Sprouts", a program designed to teach them Bible truths and Scripture.
However, kids are absolutely welcome to stay in all regular services as well.
We use the Authorized King James version in all areas of our church and its ministries. We believe that the Bible (King James Version) is the complete revelation from God and its contents are verbally inspired. We stand firmly on this belief that holy men of God, qualified by the leadership of the Holy Spirit, wrote in obedience to the divine command and were kept from all error, so that the Bible can actually be classified as the very Word of God and the books of the Bible are of divine origin and authority. You can find out more of what we believe here.
You will find men dressed in coat and tie, while others choose to be more casual. Most of our ladies wear dresses or skirts. However, this is not required for church attendance. Our focus is not on the clothes people wear- we are just glad to see you!
Our church has a bus ministry which operates on several routes Oconee, Barrow, and Walton counties. Please contact our church telephone number for more information.
